2025 CREW in Review
It has been an absolute privilege to serve as president of this outstanding organization as CREW Atlanta’s members joined together in meaningful ways to further our mission of influencing the success of the commercial real estate industry by advancing the achievements of women. Serving as president this year, I have had the honor and privilege of seeing the strength of our members and corporate sponsors who support our programming, volunteer on our committees, chair our initiatives, sponsor our events, and serve on our board.
In 2025, we were particularly focused on building value and streamlining for success to ensure that our members and sponsors receive the maximum value for their investment in CREW Atlanta. The 2025 officers, board, and committees were dedicated to our mission and strategic plan, achieving significant gains this year that positively impact our entire organization.
CREW Atlanta launched a new streamlined look for all of our communications that stands out in social media and inboxes to ensure our members are informed.
Our Economic Forecast, co-hosted with CCIM, was another sell-out, providing critical insight to our members and guests for the coming year.
CREW Atlanta raised more than $15,000 at our popular Dine Arounds to support scholarships at the global level through our commitment as a Hall of Fame member of the CREW Network Foundation, as well as undergraduate and graduate scholarships at the local level.
We awarded our first two $2,500 collegiate scholarships locally.
Our new Mix and Mingle with the Board event was a tremendous success, inspiring us to host it yearly.
Our annual golf tournament raised $10,000 for Atlanta Women’s Foundation to support its mission of being a catalyst for change in the lives of women and girls.
The CREW Atlanta Hall of Fame inducted five members who were honored at a sold-out Empowerment Speaker Series event featuring three-time New York Times bestselling author, Dr. Suzy Welch.
CREW Atlanta members enjoyed special behind-the-scenes tours and networking opportunities at the Signia Hotel, Marcus Center for Advanced Rehabilitation, and The Goat Farm.
We celebrated 25 years of CREW Atlanta Leadership by introducing the incredible women of the Leadership Class of 2026 and providing a Leadership Symposium and Cocktail Hour for our amazing alumni.
And countless other contributions from CREW Atlanta volunteers who are helping transform the commercial real estate industry into one that is diverse, inclusive, and equitable for all.
As I prepare to pass the reins to our next president, I am full of gratitude for the support, partnership, and encouragement you’ve shared with me during my time in this role. I know our incoming president, Dana Ladd, the 2026 officers, board, and committee chairs will lead this chapter with vision and dedication, and I’m excited to see all the ways they will continue elevating CREW Atlanta and moving our mission forward.
CREW Atlanta is building value for you!
Heidi Swygert
2025 President
