CREW Atlanta June 2023 Letter to Membership

Dear CREW Atlanta Members,
 
It is now time to register for the CREW Network 2023 Convention taking place on September 20-22 at the Hyatt Regency Atlanta. This is an incredible opportunity to take advantage of world-class learning and networking right here in our hometown. We also have opportunities for CREW Atlanta members to volunteer as hosts for convention Excursions and Dine Arounds. Perhaps I am just a tad biased, but the 2023 CREW Network Convention promises to be the best to date – so register now!

And speaking of great events, CREW Atlanta is offering amazing June events! There is still time to register for the members-only ACE Mercedes Benz Stadium Tour taking place on June 15, the DEI members-only Juneteenth Sweet Auburn Tour taking place on June 19, and the Signature Programs Empower Her Conference on June 20. A lively Pickleball Clinic Dine Around on June 24 allows members to raise funds for the Atlanta Women’s Foundation while learning one of the fastest growing sports and enjoying a mimosa brunch. And of course, all CREW Atlanta events offer opportunities to network and get deals done.

One of the best ways we get deals done is through the great relationships and skills that are built through programs like our Mentor Program and Leadership CREW Class. The 2024 Leadership CREW class is currently taking nominations for members. Leadership CREW candidates must be nominated by an alumna or alumnus of one of our previous membership classes – that’s right gentleman, you can be part of the class as well! If you are an alum, please consider submitting a nomination for someone you think would be a strong candidate. If you are interested in becoming a member of the 2024 Leadership CREW class, you can reach out to an alum for a nomination – a list of alumni can be found here. The deadline for nominations is Friday, June 16.

Even though we have met the CREW Network Foundation Trifecta Challenge, we still need the support of each and every CREW Atlanta member to further the work of transforming the commercial real estate industry by advancing women globally. Although the challenge is fun, the real goal is to fund the scholarships, research and outreach that support women in commercial real estate. If you have not given yet, please make your gift here – no amount is too small.
 
I want to take a minute to recognize all of the great work to date of the 2023 committee chairs and all of the committees. It has been a banner year for CREW Atlanta! We have so many exciting and engaging events for our members to choose from and the energy we are bringing into convention is amazing! I am immensely proud to be part of such an incredible and powerful group of commercial real estate professionals, and I cannot wait for the rest of the CRE industry to see us shine later this year!
