CREW Atlanta December 2023 Letter to Membership

 Dear CREW Atlanta Members,

As I said at yesterday’s Fireside Chat, it has been an incredible privilege to serve as the president of CREW Atlanta in a year when we were able to showcase our chapter to the global CRE community through the 2023 CREW Network Convention. CREW Atlanta is a volunteer organization that is only able to do the important work that we do in advancing women in the commercial real estate industry because of our members, and I am honored to have been able to work with the 2023 board, committee chairs, and all of the incredible volunteers that contribute to our combined success.

There are eight members in particular who we honored this month: Stacy Robinson, our 2023 Shining Light award winner; Lily Stancil, our Rising Star Award winner; Sheryl Alberico our New Member of the Year; and Gina Lee, our Committee Member of the Year. We also recognized Reshell Baldini and Karmen Blackwell for the Deal of the Year, which celebrates the power of CREW members working together. The President’s Award was presented to our CREW Network Convention dream team: Greer Gallagher and Sarabeth Lewis, who led their committee in creating what was without a doubt the best CREW Network Convention to date. The commitment of all of these awardees to the CREW Atlanta mission is truly inspiring.

A big thank you to all of the companies that sponsored CREW Atlanta and the CREW Network Convention in 2023. We appreciate your support and look forward to continuing to partner with you in 2024 on the important work  of transforming the global commercial real estate industry to be diverse, inclusive and equitable for all.

This was also the year in which we completed our 2020 three-year strategic plan – checking off every single item over the last three years. Thanks to Greer Gallagher’s foresight in 2020, and the faithful implementation over the last three years by our leadership and volunteers, we are a stronger chapter today. This summer, president-elect Cristina Anderson led a committee in creating the next three-year strategic plan that will continue our growth through 2026. We recently had a planning committee with the CREW board and committee chairs, and next year promises to be an amazing year that you will not want to miss, starting with our Economic Forecast with Dr. Marci Rossell on January 25.

Now is the time to renew your CREW Atlanta membership for next year and make your 2024 CREW Foundation donation. Show your support for CREW’s mission by donating $30 or more to CREW Foundation before December 31 to get your rhinestone CREW pin! (After December 31, pins will be provided for donations of $60 or more.)
